Principal interests are regional geological mapping and global tectonics, particularly as they pertain to unravelling the evolution of Cordilleran North America and genesis of earth resources. My DEEP TIME focus is the correlation of mantle and crustal structure. I especially enjoy teaching field-based mapping techniques and learning alongside students and colleagues.
I have 35 years of experience in geological mapping and evaluating tectonic history and resource potential in various jurisdictions (Africa, Mexico, southwest Pacific, but mostly in Cordilleran British Columbia, Canada).
